Weight Training 11
The PE 11 Weight Training course offeres students the chance to furtherh explore and develop knowledge about
the affects of exercise on their body. This couse provides students with a unique set of skills and
a knowledge base that reflects the goals of life long learning. Program goals include:
• To improve knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• To allow opportunity to learn and explore options in fitness and lifestyle
• To allow for the development of increased muscular tone, strength and endurance
• To develop specific muscle groups related to particular sports and sport performance
• To improve health and health awareness
