SETTLEMENT WORKERS : Mambo Masinda and Leila Nemati

• The "Settlement Workers in Schools Program" supports students in their first three years in Canada.
• assists with immediate needs, some including:
  • cultural interpretation
  • youth support
  • outreach to new immigrant families
  • orientation to school and community services
  • referral and service linking to community and government services
