Conditions and Rules for Network, Internet & Computer Use
Your son or daughter is given an opportunity to use a school district Internet account.
The Internet is part of the “information superhighway” you may have heard about through the media.
This computer technology can enhance educational opportunities by allowing students to access and use
information sources from distant computers, communicate and share information with individuals or
groups of other students, and significantly expand their knowledge base. Just as there are
opportunities with the Internet, there are also some concerns. Without wanting to stress the
potential for misuse, we feel it is important that you understand the district’s rules for Internet
access when using a District provided Internet account.
Please read the rules and discuss with your son or daughter.
