General Information

Byrne Creek Secondary School opened its doors to students and community on September 6, 2005 after four years of planning and construction. The school is currently offering many exciting and unique opportunities for students. Features include:

• media arts and graphic arts computer labs
• science super labs
• a large dance studio and weight room
• two full-sized gymnasiums and an artificial grass playing field
• a wireless network
• a unique Centre for Dialogue

All were combined to enhance the wide range of program options and learning opportunities for students. The school has been built to accommodate a student population of 1,200. The school has also been designed to readily expand as the population grows in future years.
